The 2011 'Tastes of the Outback' will be the launch of our "Degus-Tour" & will be available
after as well.

A one of a kind ground breaking culinary tour style we have invented.
We have worked with celebrated native food chef, Andrew Fielke, to create a tour that matches local food and wine to the
outback landscape. You get to taste produce from the very land and water you tour on while
experiencing the outback.
Basically its paddock to plate & back to paddock!
Over 6 courses your tasting of local produce includes Yellowtail Kingfish, Spencer Gulf King
Prawns, Saltbush Mutton, Red Kangaroo & Feral Goat all matched to Flinders Ranges
Wines.
Our Sheep, Kangaroo & Goat are hand selected from Wilkatana Station. These animals free
range graze on natural saltbush & grasses infusing a herbacious flavour into the
meat.
Anrew Fielke's magnificent Tuckeroo products are combined with our meats to provide an authentic taste of the
area. You will also have explained the charactersitics of each dish.
The
courses are arranged so you taste the produce from the actual areas the food came from as you travel through
them by both 4WD & Boat. A truly amazing experience!
But your experience dosn't end there, to relive your experience, the rubs,
marinades, sauces & meats are all available for sale at the end of the tour & you are given the
recipies to recreate when you want take you taste buds on tour again.
